New Short Animation Film Being Developed to Create Awareness of Learning Differences

AURORA, Colo. - EntSun -- Animation Student Jolie Van Keuren from the Vancouver Film School (VFS) is creating a video to promote awareness of learning differences.

"I was fortunate to find out I had a learning difference at a young age, so I could get the help I needed. Too many people could benefit from the same education I received but don't even know they have a learning difference themselves," said Jolie. "This is why it is so important for me to create this short film to help create awareness of learning differences and let kids know they are not alone."

Jolie is in her final year at Vancouver Film School. She has established a Kickstarter to help pay for her final film at VFS. Upon completion, distribution of the film will be throughout the US at schools focusing on learning differences. In addition, the film will be submitted to animation film festivals worldwide.

Her Kickstarter page will help pay for professional music, voice actors, and sound design. Funding for the film is from donations only.
