New Live Action Aladdin Inspires an International Bellydance Party

PHILADELPHIA - April 8, 2019 - EntSun -- Move over Will Smith, celebrity belly dance trainer Oreet and her squad of certified SharQui Workout instructors are playing Genie. Your wish for a better workout will be granted at SharQui's "Three Wishes" Dance Party. On May 18 certified SharQui instructors around the world will host free "3 Wishes" bellydance parties to help fans celebrate the long-awaited premier of Disney's live action Aladdin, which comes out May 24.

Participants in this free event will learn the essential movements of authentic bellydance and take home a free digital album of bellydance music for their own 1001 Nights party. "Who doesn't wish to instantly have a healthy source of energy, fun, and stress relief?" says Oreet, the founder of SharQui, "You don't need to wiggle your nose to make that wish come true because it's so much easier to just wiggle those hips!"

According to Oreet, the women in her Yemeni family would use dance as a stress release the way other people might grab a smoke or a drink. "My grandmothers and aunties didn't have easy lives, but they didn't miss a chance to shake off their worries. Growing up in Israel, family celebrations were my chance to watch the women in my family get up and bellydance, no matter what age, size and physical capability. The love of the music and the dance just exuded out of them. So with a movie coming out that highlights the music, dance and culture, I wanted to share this message with a wider audience," says Oreet.

SharQui instructor Marisa says, "It's going to be a fun time to let loose with your friends and meet new people.
