EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. - EntSun -- High Rise 6: Power to Escape Expands Independent Crime Film Franchise With New Cartels, New Locations and Bigger Action
EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. — The High Rise film franchise is entering its sixth chapter with production underway on High Rise 6: Power to Escape, the latest installment in the independent crime-drama series created, written and directed by filmmaker and media entrepreneur Jon Robert Quinn.
Available through Awepra TV, the High Rise franchise has continued to evolve from a locally produced independent film into an expanding crime-film universe featuring recurring characters, recognizable actors, luxury automobiles, action and an ongoing battle for power.
High Rise 6 introduces two new cartels and expands the story beyond the locations established in previous installments, with portions of the story taking place in Los Angeles and Dubai. The latest film also marks a significant change for the franchise as the Vernicci organization moves out of the center of the story, opening the door for new alliances, rivalries and characters.

More cars, more action and more drama are planned for the sixth installment as Quinn continues to develop the visual identity and storyline that have defined the High Rise series.
The franchise began with High Rise: Path to Nowhere, followed by High Rise 2: Nowhere to Run, High Rise 3: Run to Peril, High Rise 4: Peril to Prosperity and High Rise 5: Prosperity to Power. Each installment has expanded the characters and interconnected storylines while continuing to blend crime drama with automotive culture and independent filmmaking.
The High Rise films have featured a growing cast of talent, including Joseph R. Gannascoli, best known for his role as Vito Spatafore on The Sopranos; Charles D. Clark, known for Empire and House of Cards; Troy Fromin of Saved by the Bell; as well as Chad Ayers, Jessie Bell and other performers who have become part of the evolving High Rise universe.
Quinn serves as the creative force behind the franchise, handling writing, directing, production and music for the films. The series has developed its own independent style, drawing inspiration from vintage crime cinema while incorporating modern locations, automobiles, music and a continuing serialized storyline.
High Rise 6: Power to Escape is currently in production and is scheduled for release in Spring 2027. The film will be available through Awepra TV as part of the growing collection of original programming produced under the JRQTV banner.
