Free COVID Testing To Be Conducted At Quassy Amusement & Waterpark

MIDDLEBURY, Conn. - EntSun -- MIDDLEBURY, Conn. - To help serve the community during this latest rise in COVID-19 infections, Griffin Health of Derby, Conn., is partnering with the Connecticut Department of Public Health to provide Community Outbreak COVID-19 Testing at Quassy Amusement & Waterpark here.

 The Quassy testing site begins Friday and will be open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays until further notice.  Testing is free, no appointment necessary, and results are available in 24-48 hours.  Please be sure to bring a valid identification.

 "We're certainly pleased to open up our parking area for this worthwhile cause," Quassy President Eric Anderson said of the partnership. "We trust local and area residents will take advantage to be tested during this drive-through opportunity."

 The park is located at 2132 Middlebury Road.

   Quassy Amusement Park & Waterpark is in its 112th year and features more than two dozen rides and attractions.

 Rides include the award-winning Wooden Warrior roller coaster, Reverse Time, Frantic, Music Fest, Yo-Yo super swings, Free Fall 'N' Drop Tower and Grand Carousel. New for 2020 is the thrill ride Tidal Wave, a giant swinging ship.
