Berkshire Actor Charlotte Drablow Expands Screen Career

LONDON - EntSun -- British actor, presenter and voiceover artist Charlotte Drablow is continuing to build a varied career across television, film, comedy, commercials, radio and podcasting.

Based in Berkshire with easy access to London, Drablow's public credits include Pish & Posh, in which she plays Christian Abbey for Carys & Knightley Ltd., alongside B.M.T's Plan B 2 and comedy project Too Thirsty. Her work also extends beyond scripted screen performance. Drablow appeared as a Debate Host in advertising for The Essence Vault, produced by MTRX Media, and has previous broadcast experience with BBC Radio Berkshire and ITV News Meridian. She also hosts Cursed & Curious, a UK paranormal, history and mystery podcast.

"I've never really been someone who wanted to do one thing forever," Drablow says. "I love acting, but I also genuinely enjoy presenting, voice work and anything where I get to connect with people or disappear into a character."

Alongside her creative career, Drablow holds a BA (Hons) in Applied Psychology and Criminology and is completing postgraduate study in Psychology in Mental Health. She says that interest in human behaviour naturally feeds into her approach to character.

"When I get a character, I want to know what they want, what they're hiding, what annoys them and what makes them vulnerable," she says. "Even with comedy, there still has to be a real person underneath it."

Comedy and character-led work remain particular interests.

"I like comedy that still feels grounded," Drablow says. "I'd rather play the character completely seriously and let the situation be funny."

As her credits continue to grow, Drablow says her focus is on continuing to develop across acting, presenting and voiceover.

"I'm ambitious about where I want this to go, but I also want to enjoy getting there," she says. "I want to keep building, keep meeting interesting people and keep doing work that I'm genuinely excited about."
