Benjamin Hey! aka "The Captain" is set to release a music video for the anti-gun violence song, "Ra-tat-tat-tat."

NEW YORK - EntSun -- "Ra-tat-tat-tat" the music video will be available on Youtube on Friday, June 3rd.

"Ra-ta-tat-tat" is a conscious hip-hop record that commands your attention with its jarring gunfire opening. The song is a plea to stop the gun violence that is plaguing our country.

Benjamin Hey! (Laverne Cox, Marvel's The Punisher, NYFW) co-wrote "Ra-tat-tat-tat" with collaborator, John B. Beyer for the John Beyer Music, LTD imprint.  The song was co-produced with the help of music producer, Doobie Duke Sims (Salt n Pepa, Shinobi Ninja, Spike Lee).

My collaborator and I also didn't want to just point out the problem. We wanted to offer what we thought was a solution."
