Walker / Viden Luxury Consignment Opens in Pasadena, California in Green Street Village

PASADENA, Calif. - Aug. 7, 2016 - EntSun -- A new luxury consignment store has opened in the Los Angeles County area.  Walker / Viden Luxury Consignment opened during the first week of August next to High Low Vintage on Green Street in Pasadena, CA.

The store sells upscale/high end designer clothing, shoes, handbags and jewelry, along with some mid tier brands and select vintage pieces, with a large selection for women and a small, but growing, selection for men.

The stores name is the last names of the two founders, Jennie Walker and Addy Viden.   The business partners bring together a passion for entrepreneurship and fashion.  Jennie Walker with her New York City sense of style and Addy Viden, with his European sense of culture and entrepreneurship.

Two years ago, co-founder, Jennie Walker, began putting all of her energies into her online ebay store after a lifelong career in the charity fundraising sector and some project work as a merchandising coordinator for top brands such as Calvin Klein, Timberland and Jones New York.  What set her ebay store apart was her New York City sense of fashion, with its minimalist, edgy and mostly black pieces of clothing.  She relocated from Manhattan to Pasadena in 2015 and continued working on her online business as well as styling professional photos shoots, when she met her business partner, Addy Viden.  Jennie had always dreamed of having her own consignment shop and he thought he was the right person to help make that happen.  Addy had a love of fashion, having been involved in clothing boutique in Europe, and always wanted to be close to it.  He saw something special in the consignment industry and as intrigued by the growth in the sector.  After months of research in the Pasadena area Jennie and Addy found the perfect retail space in what is now known as Green Street Village, the first historic business district in Pasadena, CA.

Early consignors have brought clothing by Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Miu Miu, Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Donna Karan, Burberry and Blumarine , as well as vintage Missoni, Ungaro and St. John knits.

Walker / Viden Luxury Consignment sellers receive 50% of the selling price, and items can be consigned up to one year.  Full information on their consignment store including a complete list of brands they are seeking, can be found on their website (www.walkerviden.com).  Clothes that are not sold within the consignment period can be collected or donated.
