Visual Thrive Launches Video Series With RI Small Businesses Navigating COVID-19

CRANSTON, R.I. - EntSun -- Visual Thrive recently launched the first in a series of interviews portraying how RI small businesses have pivoted since March 2020, and continue to navigate through COVID-19. The RI companies featured in this "Shop Local Rhode Island" video include Providence Power Yoga, Adler's Design Center & Hardware, and White Dog Distilling; with input from RI Lt. Governor Daniel McKee.

The six-minute video below demonstrates the intense maneuvering small businesses have taken on since March 2020. From curbside pickup, to delivering entirely virtual services, to producing new products; each business shows how they remain connected and dedicated to their customers and their community.

"As a small business serving other small businesses, we know everyone is being severely impacted by COVID-19." says Lori Giuttari, CMO/COO at Visual Thrive. "Small business makes up over 95% of RI companies, and our goal is always to showcase how incredibly important it is to help them innovate and thrive."

Harry Adler, owner of Adler's Design Center & Hardware, notes, "We were an essential business, so no one mandated that we close, but my staff was getting uncomfortable. We weren't trying to do an easy thing, we were trying to do a safe thing."

JoEllen Hockenbrough, Providence Power Yoga reflects that, "When we shut down, it wasn't just closing our doors, it was the loss of community. We've now outfitted studios with major technology."

Carlo & Alecia Catucci, White Dog Distilling, said "We had to figure out what we were going to do... and we had to do an overhaul on our entire business."
