Triple Team Pickleball League Launches as National Team Pickleball's New Identity

SALT LAKE CITY - EntSun -- The National Team Pickleball League (NTPL) has rebranded as the Triple Team Pickleball League, emphasizing teamwork and inclusivity in men's, women's, and combo formats. This change highlights our commitment to fostering camaraderie across teams, communities, and nationally.

Originating from the Utah Tennis Association in 2020, the league has evolved to offer a unique competitive experience for recreational players. Jeremy Horner, Pickleball Manager, states, "Our transition represents our commitment to creating an inclusive environment where players can team up, play locally, and compete nationally." Our league combines individual weekly DUPR match play with a team scoring system generating excitement every match.

Triple Team offers a unique team league format for recreational players following the successful USTA tennis model, with over 1 million registered users. Players can forge lasting memories, and foster relationships in their community.

How Teams Qualify for Nationals
To qualify for the National Championships, teams must play in local qualifying DUPR leagues managed by league state directors. View Active States to join and play.

Key Features of Triple Team Pickleball League

• Three Divisions: Men's, Women's, and Combo divisions, providing inclusive competition for all players.
• Three Age Brackets: 18+ and 50+ divisions currently with 60+ division in the future.
• Three Lines of Play: Gender Doubles include three lines of play; Combo doubles feature two lines promoting strategic gameplay and team rivalries.
• Three Rounds Per Match: Each match consists of three head-to-head rounds.
• DUPR Skill Levels: Players compete at skill levels of 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5, ensuring fair and competitive matches.
