Summer Hill's Release Has 'Nearly Departed'

PHOENIX - EntSun -- 'Nearly Departed' tells the tale of a mans new career path after his life turns upside down.

After a car crash kills the love of his life, Wilmont Hastings takes a job at Dobbs Funeral Home. As their new undertaker, he receives unwanted advice about how to get his life back on track from the dead people he's preparing for burial.

'Nearly Departed' is written and directed by Bob Cook, known for  'Scream Test' (2020), 'Storm of the Dead' (2006), and 'Rock-A-Die Baby' (1989).

The film stars Robert Carradine, known for 'Revenge of the Nerds' (1984), 'Escape from L.A.' (1996), and 'The Lizzie McGuire Movie' (2003). Along with Carradine is Greg Pitts, known for 'Office Space' (1999), 'Coyote Ugly' (2000), and 'Idiocracy' (2006) and Lisa London, known for 'Sudden Impact' (1983), 'The Morning Show' (2019), and 'Savage Beach' (1989).
