What's the difference between Comedy and World Peace? According to comedian and activist Ed Blaze—absolutely nothing.

WILMINGTON, Del. - EntSun -- Comedian Ed Blaze is kicking off his 2020 comedy tour, Untold African Stories, with an ambitious Kickstarter campaign. With more than forty cities coast to coast slated over a five-month period, the comedian is looking for backers and donors to help bring this project to life.

Blaze, originally from Tanzania, informs, amuses, and educates audiences with his edgy humor. His book "Comedy is World Peace" underscores his view that if we can learn to laugh at our differences, we can change the world. His 2020 tour follows the success of his 2015-2016 tour, as well as his experiences opening for popular comedians such as Ralphie May, Jim Gaffigan, Gary Owen, Erin Foley, and Luenell. He also has experience promoting for comedians such as Rachael Feinstein, Esther Ku, Mike Lawrence and Nema Williams' "This Ain't Safe" tour and produced the comedy DVD, "U Gotta Dollar," also featuring Nema Williams.

"I really believe that comedy is what unites us. Or, unties us, depending on how you see things. I'm excited to travel the country and help people laugh and discover what we have in common. It's an election year," says Blaze. "We're gonna need it."

The Kickstarter project goes live on October 1st and can be found on Kickstarter. (short link: https://bit.ly/2kxIasC) With a variety of incentives and rewards, backers can support a worthy cause, enjoy a fun night out, and can go to sleep knowing they contributed to world peace.
