Direct Sales Industry Gets Exciting New Event Provider With Decades of Experience

ORLANDO, Fla. - April 15, 2019 - EntSun -- In the crowded world of event production, there's a new player in town. One that brings decades of experience, passion, and talent to the table.  A company that is already producing some of the most talked about events in the Direct Selling industry. Katapult president Erik Johnson has become synonymous with success in the industry. Starting his own online business at the age of 15, Erik has been in and around the Direct Sales industry for over a decade. In that time he's been a vendor, a distributor, AND corporate as the VP of Events for a DSA top 100 company.

"I've seen every side of events in Direct Sales. I've been in the crowd, I've been back stage, and I've been in the boardroom with C level executives and creative as we plan and budget the show. That unique perspective plays into everything we do with Katapult."

When SVP Of Production Scott Beelman isn't working, you'll probably find him playing stand up bass in his band "Debauche" which he describes as "…sort of a Russian prison polka band." With over a decade of experience in lighting, video, and sound design…he has worked on some of the biggest shows in the world, including ESSENCE Festival, Lollapalooza, and The Orange Bowl.

"What I love about Direct Sales events is the crowd energy. Without question these are rock concert level events. So, what we do is combine all of our experience with festivals and rock concerts and broadcast television and bring that level of production to your show. And the field LOVES it."

The third partner and SVP of Operations at Katapult, Jay Taylor, started in the event business when he was 14.

"I started volunteering at a small church doing everything from audio to projection to video.  In a few short years, that little church became a MEGA church with elaborate stage production, satellite broadcasts and thousands attending every service. That experience running every part of a show has been invaluable whether its working on the College Football Playoff Halftime Show, Essence Festival, or one of the over half a dozen Direct Sales I've worked on in the last two years. Bottom line it's about the audience experience."
