         "Each time I present a finished piece, it's the most special moment
         for me," says Artist Thoman.  I put hours and hours of detailed work
         into every part of the process… from choosing the perfect styles
         and cuts of glass, with the most vibrant      and rich colors, to
         making sure I capture each signature feature that will bring my
         subjects to life in glass.  Then when the sun hits it, the whole piece
         illuminates in a way no other portrait can."

Having grown up in New Jersey, it was on a trip to England to visit his mother's gravesite that John was so moved by the stained glass at St. Michael's church, he knew it would be his calling.  Now he runs the esteemed JSJ Stained Glass Studio in Palm Springs, where he lives with his wife Sheli (a retired elementary school teacher) and his father-in-law Jerry (a former Marine.)  John's unique celebrity glass portraits have earned JSJ national media attention and a passionate following across the country, and even internationally.  JSJ gives back to many charities, including Desert Aids Project, Wounded Warriors Project, American Cancer Society, and ACT for Multiple Sclerosis.
