Filmmaker Dustin Ferguson's World Premiere of Robowoman is a Rousing Success

GLENDALE, Calif. - April 15, 2019 - EntSun -- On Thursday, April 11th, multi award-winning filmmaker Dustin Ferguson's action, sci-fi thriller Robowoman had its much anticipated world premiere at the Laemmle Glendale at 207 N Maryland Ave, Glendale. The film was presented as a late-nite "Grindhouse Experience," complete with actual retro Grindhouse movie trailers and bumpers from the 1970s and 80s as well as an informative Q and A after the film. This film was produced by SoCal Cinema Studios.

Celebrities and VIPs that were in attendance: The film's director Dustin Ferguson in a Vida Craddock, Designs by Vida one-of-a-kind couture jacket  (Nemesis 5: The New Model), the stars of the film Dawna Lee Heising (Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance), Brinke Stevens (Slumber Party Massacre), Aki Aleong (General Hospital), Sue Price (Nemesis 2-5 franchise), Vida Ghaffari (The Mindy Project), Gregory Blair (Slumber Party Massacre), Peter Stickles (Showgirls 2: Pennies from Heaven), Mel Novak (Quentin Tarantino favorite Game of Death) and many more.

"RoboWoman" follows Vivica Stevens (Dawna Lee Heising) on her last night at a temp agency as she accepts a date with a persistent co-worker. Soon she finds herself cornered in a dark park at night and brutally attacked, raped and left for dead by her date and his deranged friends. She's found barely alive by her roommate Carlene (Sue Price) and undergoes illegal, experimental "cybernetic" surgery where she is given a replacement robotic arm and visor to correct her vision. However, the cybernetic surgery causes havoc to her brain, as well as to her body. Before long, she decides to seek revenge with the aid of her new attachments. One by bloody one, she stalks and kills her attackers before the shocking and revealing conclusion.
