Aleem Hossain's award-winning sci-fi drama will make its German debut at the Berlin Sci-Fi FilmFest on November 29.
LOS ANGELES - EntSun -- Los Angeles based writer/director Aleem Hossain's debut feature won Best Feature Film at Sci-Fi London earlier this year and the sci-fi drama has been notching up numerous accolades throughout its festival run so far.
Made on an incredible budget of $30,000, After We Leave's use of Los Angeles locations, Julie Kirkwood's cinematography, and a mesmerizing stand out performance from Brian Silverman is a lesson in what can be achieved in contemporary independent filmmaking.
After We Leave is a gritty sci-fi drama about a man who has a once-in-a-lifetime chance to emigrate off Earth… if only he can find his estranged wife and convince her to come with him.
