Young Mothers, Inc. Holds Virtual COVID-19 Campaign for Young Mothers in the Community

WHAT: Young Mothers, Inc. will disburse funds raised from our COVID-19 Campaign to young mothers who have lost their jobs. So far we have raised over 1K since August and need $9,000 more to reach our $10,000 goal! This campaign was created to help young mothers regain their strength and courage through resume workshops, stipends for daily essentials, professional skill-building workshops, health and wellness practices and one-on-one career coaching.

INFO:  The qualifications to receive funding are mothers ages 16 and under and 17- 21 who have 1. been impacted by COVID-19, 2. recognized for their perseverance and resilience and 3. are DC Residents. Applicants will be required to fill in a form where they will need to give additional information related to their financial stress/strain as a result of COVID-19 and specify other areas of greatest need.  Email admin@youngmothersinc.com for more information.
