A Wake at the Gate: Cabinet of Curiosities

SAN PEDRO, Calif. - Sept. 7, 2018 - EntSun -- Angels Gate Cultural Center presents their biennial fundraiser, A Wake at the Gate! This year's theme, Cabinets of Curiosities, will be held on September 29, 2018 from 6pm to 9pm in the Angels Gate Cultural Center Art Galleries. A fundraiser like no other, this is a Party by Artists for Artists and their Friends!

Our artists are installing unique "rooms" of curiosities in all our galleries in Building A to provide an eye-catching, fascinating and fun-inspired environment. Our auction will be unlike any other, all items will be artist created curiosities made especially for the event.  Guests will be enticed by the food of a local chef, enjoy libations, curious music, a unique photo booth experience, a poet composing Poems for Strangers, and the indubitably cool artist-made party favors, and more.

All proceeds benefit the restoration of our WWII army base buildings. Angels Gate Cultural Center is where art is made, taught, exhibited and supported.
