A Wake at the Gate: Cabinet of Curiosities

SAN PEDRO, Calif. - Sept. 7, 2018 - EntSun -- Angels Gate Cultural Center presents their biennial fundraiser, A Wake at the Gate! This year's theme, Cabinets of Curiosities, will be held on September 29, 2018 from 6pm to 9pm in the Angels Gate Cultural Center Art Galleries. A fundraiser like no other, this is a Party by Artists for Artists and their Friends!

Our artists are installing unique "rooms" of curiosities in all our galleries in Building A to provide an eye-catching, fascinating and fun-inspired environment. Our auction will be unlike any other, all items will be artist created curiosities made especially for the event.  Guests will be enticed by the food of a local chef, enjoy libations, curious music, a unique photo booth experience, a poet composing Poems for Strangers, and the indubitably cool artist-made party favors, and more.

All proceeds benefit the restoration of our WWII army base buildings. Angels Gate Cultural Center is where art is made, taught, exhibited and supported.

A Wake at the Gate: Cabinets of Curiosities will be evening to mingle with artists and arts advocates.  If you've attended before, you will return.  If you've never been, you'll be amazed. You'll have more fun at A Wake at the Gate than any fundraiser you've ever attended.
