Todd Schowalter Productions Introduces ToonScreen™, Bringing Animation To Comics

ST. LOUIS - EntSun -- Todd Schowalter Productions, an animation studio based in St. Louis, Missouri, has introduced its first model of ToonScreen™. ToonScreen is a platform that digitally presents comic strips in an animated format, suitable for on-line viewing and mobile apps.

"With the newspaper market continuing to shrink, comic strips are losing their platform," says Todd Schowalter, head of Todd Schowalter Productions.  "ToonScreen offers a brand new digital platform for comics," he continues. Schowalter's comics have been distributed worldwide, and the first ToonScreen models are based on his own work, however he hopes to add other creators in the near future.

" The first stage of ToonScreen has been experimental," says Schowalter. "But at this point, we'd really like to introduce other creators work with the new format. I think they'll find it pretty exciting, and most of all, so will their readers."
