Houston-based Islamic Arts Society announced its 13th annual festival will be held on the 21st and 22nd of November 2026.
HOUSTON - EntSun -- The Islamic Arts Society is pleased to announce that the 13th Annual Islamic Arts Festival will be held on November 21–22, 2026, at the magnificent Ismaili Center Houston.
Recognized as the largest and most celebrated Islamic arts festival in the United States, the two-day event will bring together artists, scholars, performers, and visitors from across the nation for a vibrant celebration of Islamic art, culture, and heritage.
Set against the inspiring backdrop of the Ismaili Center, the festival will feature an exciting array of programs, including fine art exhibitions and sales of contemporary and traditional Islamic art, live demonstrations by master calligraphers and artisans, interactive workshops, and a Sufi music program.
The Islamic Arts Festival serves as a bridge between cultures, fostering greater understanding and appreciation of the rich artistic traditions of the Muslim world while highlighting their relevance and beauty in contemporary society.

Since its inception, the Islamic Arts Festival has grown into a premier cultural event that attracts artists and visitors from all corners of the United States, fostering connections and collaborations and sparking creativity. It serves as a platform for established artists to network, collaborate, and inspire, while also providing a space for emerging and student artists to learn and showcase their talent.
With over 5,000 pieces by more than 50 artists on display, visitors can enjoy, appreciate, and purchase art. They can also engage in interactive art sessions, learn about Islamic art and culture, attend workshops, and savor ethnic food. Live demonstrations on calligraphy, henna tattoos, ebru, painting, and a variety of children's art activities will further enrich the festival experience.
