Respect Da Grind Entertainment has been in business since 2007. RDG Entertainment was started by David L and his remaining nameless partners. All three were driven, but David L's drive was in a direction all the way to the top. Due to creative differences the three parted ways and David L went on to legalize the business, with then partner Kevin James, and everything had taken off. After four years, Kevin James went on to do other business endeavors and David L became the sole owner of RDG Entertainment, acting as the Marketing Manager.

RDG Entertainment has worked with and produced shows with some of the biggest names in the music industry such as: Power 105's Music Director DJ Prostyle, Music Coordinator Honey German, DJ Self, DJ Spinking, DJ Sussone to Hot  97's Music Director TT Torres, Funk Flex, DJ Drewski and much more. RDG Entertainment also has thrown Celebrity events featuring of the legendary Mr Cheeks, Styles P, Sheek Louch, Papoose, Juelz Santana and much more.

David L has hosted shows that featured Joe Budden, Jadakiss, Angela Yee, Lloyd Banks, 50 Cent, Chinx (SIP) Megatron (SIP) Hollywood Play (SIP) and much more. In 2011 RDG Entertainment took a turn to start breaking new artists into the music industry. Discovering such acts as Astronomical Kid, aka Stro The MC, and worked with acts like Tone Trump, who went on to sign with CTE. In 2013 RDG Entertainment embarked on promotional tour campaigns dealing with established artist, such as Maino & The Mafia in Paterson, NJ.  In 2014 RDG Entertainment produced a promotional tour stop for The Fresh Sound Tour Featuring Fred The Godson. In 2015 RDG Entertainment  also produced a promotional tour stop for the Human Album Tour featuring Joell Ortiz & ILL Mind. Successfully, RDG Entertainment continued to do marketing campaigns throughout the music industry.

In 2016 David L received a proposal that he couldn't refuse with A.P.E Company based in Allentown, Pennsylvania. A partnership resulted and he became an Iheartmedia marketing representative under the guidance of Angelo Rojas and Sergio. David L's life would completely change. In 2017  David L signed Buddy Staytuned, aka "Mr Shut The Show Down" from (Fort Greene, Brooklyn),to RDG Management, who then caught the attention of Power 105's DJ Self & Roc Nation's Casanova  2X.

Also in 2017, alongside long time friend and business associate DJ MeloD, David L created a yearly platform called The New New York Music Festival, which became a prominent movement, that has bridged the gap between the mainstream and under.  This platform is still growing within the greater New York City area to this very day. In 2018 David L signed, J Thuro aka "Mr Internet" from (Flatbush Brooklyn), and Born King aka "The Club Ruler" from (Bedstuy, Brooklyn), to RDG Management that included a lucrative business partnership.

In early 2019 David L also signed "The Party Starter" DJ N.O from (Bushwick, Brooklyn) and recently signed Calitos Way, aka "Mr Energetic", from (The Bronx) to RDG Management.  RDG Entertainment also made a business partnership with DJ Hot Rod aka "Your DJ's Favorite DJ" from (Queens) and DJ Shuttle aka "The Workhorse", due to always being booked up.

As of May 1st 2019, Respect Da Grind Music Group launched partners David L, Jay Williams, and B Payne all at the helm. The three has formed like Voltron and are ready for the world. The Current artist roster: Buddy Staytuned, J Thuro, Born King, Calitos Way, DJ N.O, DJ Hot Rod, and DJ Shuttle. Respect Da Grind Music Group is the new wave of the future, yes they will be travelling the world and yes they will be coming to a city near you.
