Red Eagle Cinema Release Their Latest Short Film "mean Sweets"

This comedic drama, filmed in NJ and NYC, dives into a story about two drug dealing best friends who quit selling drugs, to sell candy to kids.

"Mean Sweets" is a labor of love that showcases the remarkable talents of its creators and cast. Written and directed by Erick Freitas and produced by Bruno Barros, the film features Matthew K Addison and Paul Roberson, the creators of the story, in the leading roles. This collaboration resulted in a project that took over a year to complete, with production starting in July of 2022 and post-production ending in August of 2023.

"Mean Sweets'' offers a unique blend of drama and satire, commenting on today's politics and social-economics with a storyline that is both entertaining and thought-provoking. The short film is a testament to the dedication and creativity of the Red Eagle Cinema team.
