Power-pop artist - Cliff Hillis releases new album featuring the hit single 'Good Morning and Goodnight'

PHILADELPHIA - EntSun -- Singer/Songwriter Cliff Hillis is elated to announce the release of his new album - Be The Now.

Be The Now has more of a 'breezy 70's meets rootsy Americana' vibe at times than the power-pop Cliff Hillis has written in the past, but still includes the Beatlesque melodies he's become known for. Hillis owes the diversity of this album to his collaborations with acclaimed songwriters such as: Rhett Miller of The Old 97's, Grammy-nominated Nashville songwriter Aaron Lee Tasjan, beloved troubadour Dan Bern and pop songwriter Kelley Ryan. Hillis is also quick to give credit to Greg Maragos, (bass player for Hillis' live band "The Forward Thinkers"), who co-produced Be The Now and added textural keyboard and synth layers to the songs

"The title of the album came from a dream I had where my dad, who passed away in 2006, actually said 'Be the now' to me. I woke up in the morning and wrote it down so I wouldn't forget", says Hillis.
