Philip Bailey's Music Is Unity "Backstage Soundcheck" Tour Experience Continues in Atlanta July 24th

ATLANTA - EntSun -- Earth, Wind & Fire lead singer Philip Bailey's Music Is Unity (MIU) Foundation, will host its "Backstage Soundcheck" tour experience series on Wednesday, July 24th, at the Chastain Park Amphitheatre.

The MIU Foundation, founded in 2007 by Mr. Bailey and his daughter Trinity Bailey, invests in agencies that support foster youth as they transition into adulthood.  In 2008, MIU partnered with advocacy organization Foster Youth in Action to address the various issues surrounding youth in foster care. MIU is focused on developing new and positive ways to offer programs including the exclusive "Backstage Soundcheck" tour experience - designed to develop students' interest in careers in the music industry. The series recent stops include: Atlantic City, and Phoenix; and following Atlanta, will continue in Sacramento in the fall. "With 'Backstage Soundcheck', our goal is to expose kids who love music to the many career opportunities in this industry," states Bailey.  "Through our partnership with Foster Youth in Action and local organizations, we hope to empower youth by offering new pathways to success."

For the series in Atlanta, MIU has partnered with The Multi-Agency Alliance for Children (MAAC), and will offer students from the organization (ages 17 - 21), with an opportunity to explore careers in the music industry by attending the Earth, Wind & Fire concert, including a behind-the-scenes tour of concert preparations, the pre-concert soundcheck, and a Q&A with Bailey and other EWF tour representatives. The "Backstage Soundcheck" tour experience will take place before the Earth, Wind, & Fire concert, at Chastain Park Amphitheatre at 4pm.
