Night Fight Film Ignites Racial Justice Talk on Transform U Live Show

NEW YORK - EntSun -- Filmmaker Khary Saeed Jones drops soul-shaking truth on the Transform U Live Show with Marcus Hart, unpacking Night Fight—a Sundance-backed, SXSW-premiered hybrid doc that's got streets buzzing. From a 20-minute vigilante chase in Canada to a father's reckoning with race, Khary's film hits like a sermon on survival, faith, and resilience.

"I had to get this out—raw racial intimidation turned into art," Khary tells Marcus (01:33). What starts as a pre-dawn pursuit becomes a haunting family story, stitching pain into purpose. Marcus, a war vet turned "shameless Jesus preacher," vibes deep: "It's Dark Valleys, Steel Waters—faith riding shotgun" (06:10). With 2025's indie film wave surging, Night Fight lands timely for urban hustlers, church dropouts, and hope-seekers craving real talk.

Khary's no stranger to shadows—"I profile versions of me born that day: rageful, checked out, searching" (09:46)—but it's his faith roots and fatherhood that shine. "This ain't just my story—it's community," he says (05:17). Marcus adds, "Night Fight refills depleted souls—race, survival, Jesus juice" (12:24). Catch the convo now and join the fire.
