Matt Fitt Showcases Fine Art at Costa Mesa's ArtVenture

COSTA MESA, Calif. - EntSun -- Fine Art Photographer Matt Fitt featured three new works as his home town, Costa Mesa, embrassed it's motto "City of the Arts." Costa Mesa celebrated it's fifth annual ARTventure with a two-day event this weekend in the Concert Hall at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts.

As a first time participant in this much-celebrated fine art extravaganza, Fitt's work was well received by the public.  The artist found himself fully engaged the entire evening of the opening reception. Even the mayor, along with the city manager and her husband, stopped by to pose with the artist alongside his work titled "Mountains of Gold."

The California beaches have always lured the photographer in with their tide pools, pebble walking trails and massive docks near marinas. For Fitt, these beaches provide an overload of beauty. For ArtVenture he elected to share three of his newer beach-inspired works: "Beachcombing," "Among One's Piers," and "Mountains of Gold." All three were printed on metal but were available on canvas or paper.

Fitt has a passion for truth and beauty in nature. His passion has taken him from the Arizona deserts to the frozen lakes of northern Wisconsin; from the surf of California to the swamps of Florida, and beyond.
