'Planting Seeds of Humanity' supports character education programs for children
NAPLES, Fla. - EntSun -- A limited number of tickets and tables remain for Charity for Change's annual Planting Seeds of Humanity gala on Nov. 7 in Naples. Proceeds support the nonprofit's character education programs, which teach children empathy, resilience and responsibility through academics and real-world service.
Last year's gala drew a sold-out crowd and raised more than $400,000 for Charity for Change's programs. This year's event continues that community support while bringing guests together around the organization's mission of teaching children in pre-K through fifth grade to care about one another and the world around them.
"Planting Seeds of Humanity shows what can happen when a community invests in children early in their lives," said Karen Conley, founder, president and CEO of Charity for Change. "Every ticket helps us reach more children with lessons that shape how they treat others, make decisions and contribute to their communities."
