Demetrius "Juice" Deason teams up with Oklahoma City Thunder's own Russell Westbrook for a pop-up comedy show in Tulsa.
TULSA, Okla. - May 20, 2019 - EntSun -- Layups2standup an innovative brand that combines the love of basketball and stand-up comedy to create entertaining events with proceeds going towards engaging in the local communities non-profit and humanitarian efforts, are announcing the "Why Not"?? Comedy Show" will be popping-up in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The "Why Not"??" Comedy Show debuted in Oklahoma City in 2015 and since then it has hosted mega talented power house Comedians such as Gary Owen, Ron Taylor, Steven Briggs, Alex Powers and BT Kingsley just to name a few, entertaining sold out audiences every year since its debut! This will be the fourth year of the annual event in Oklahoma City and by popular demand the shows' creator comedian Demetrius "Juice" Deason decided to expand the show to an early summer (pop-up) event in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

This Pop-Up show will be hosted by the Thunder's very own Russell Westbrook and stand-up comedian Demetrius "Juice" Deason. Thursday, July 11th at Cain's Ballroom, 423 North Main Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74103 at 8:30 PM.
We are looking to leave a positive impact in the Tulsa community and economy." said, Deason (Comedian and CEO of Layups2Standup) Every year a non-profit organization is selected as a recipient of proceeds from the comedy show. Past recipients have been YWCA and the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. For the Tulsa show they have selected the "The Light It Up Foundation." (In conjunction with the National Christian Foundation) a non-profit organization founded by Tyler Lockett. Tyler Lockett is a Tulsa native who graduated from Booker T. Washington High School; he now plays for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL.
This years' event will feature comedian Demetrius "Juice" Deason, Oklahoma City Thunder's own Russell Westbrook, comedians Velly Vel, Yasmin Bayfor, Ron Taylor and more. This event is guaranteed to have the community talking with its celebrity comedic lineup, professional athletes, corporate partners, and many more, so "WHY NOT?" attend this event, there's definitely no telling who will "Pop-Up".
