Larry Dunn's Anthology of Earth, Wind & Fire with Luenell, Ronnie Laws, and Ray Parker Jr

PASADENA, Calif. - Oct. 17, 2018 - EntSun -- The Larry Dunn Orchestra (LDO) returns to The Rose in Pasadena for a repeat performance of Larry Dunn's Anthology of Earth, Wind & Fire on Friday, October 19, 2018. Dunn composed many of the songs that catapulted the band to super stardom, including "Shining Star," "Be Ever Wonderful," "Jupiter," and others, as well as melodies that will remain on the charts and in our hearts forever. LDO breathes new life into "Reasons," "Fantasy," and "After the Love Is Gone" during each performance.

"Larry Dunn and his orchestra played beautifully the songs he had a hand in creating. The things we all remember about Earth, Wind & Fire are the intense, hooky arrangements, profound, life-changing lyrics, and insane vocals, not to mention the inventive chord changes and the journey they took us all down back in the day."— Agenda Magazine

LDO performed last December at The Rose, and back by popular demand are doing a repeat performance for those who missed it the first time. Celebrity guests in attendance at that last concert included Verdine White, Hubert Laws, Bunny Brunel, Kiki Shepard, Obba Babatunde, and Sue Wong.

"That was a monumental show.  Everybody was on point on stage and the audience was awesome. We have a feeling that THIS show at The Rose will be even better!"—Larry Dunn

Luenell will set the stage with her comedy routine before Larry Dunn plays those dreamy interludes, segueing into a wonderland of horns, vocals, and infectious grooves. Dunn's command of the keyboards is nothing short of psychotropic. It's no wonder that Larry Dunn is the sole composer of those powerful openings that became synonymous with Earth, Wind & Fire. A special treat that evening will be guest performers Ronnie Laws and Ray Parker, Jr.

"With the state of the way things are in the world today, we are blessed to be able to put a smile on peoples' faces and we're doing it with love, peace, and integrity. Thank God." —Larry Dunn
