Fort Myers Brewing Taps Into Oktoberfest, Oct. 15–18, With Beers Nine Months in the Making
EntSun News/11104515
Four days of live music, local food trucks, and small-batch seasonal beers, including a pumpkin release and ongoing beer drops throughout Saturday
FORT MYERS, Fla. - EntSun -- Fort Myers Brewing Company will celebrate Oktoberfest with a four-day festival running Thursday, Oct. 15 through Sunday, Oct. 18, bringing together the brewery's most anticipated seasonal beers, a lineup of Southwest Florida food trucks, and live music each night on the brewery's outdoor stage.
At the center of the celebration is beer. Fort Myers Brewing's Oktoberfest lineup includes beers the brew team begins developing up to nine months in advance, timed so each batch peaks for the festival. That includes the brewery's popular pumpkin release, a seasonal favorite built from a recipe refined over months of test batches, alongside a rotating slate of Oktoberfest-style lagers and ales crafted specifically for the celebration.
Guests can expect new beer releases throughout the weekend, with additional taps dropping over the course of the day on Saturday, Oct. 17, giving visitors a reason to come back to the bar again and again as the festival unfolds.

"Oktoberfest is the payoff for work that starts nearly a year out," said Jen Whyte, Co-owner and Co-Founder of Fort Myers Brewing. "Our brew team starts planning and brewing these beers as early as January, so when guests walk through our doors in October, they're tasting something we've been perfecting for months. It's a celebration of the beer as much as it is of the season."
The four-day festival will also feature a rotating cast of Southwest Florida's favorite food trucks and live music from local and regional acts each evening. Full daily lineups are below.
