Guitar Masters Festival Presents World's Leading Jazz Guitarists

NEW YORK - EntSun -- The 2024 Guitar Masters Festival is proud to present many of the world's most acclaimed jazz guitarists during a series of must-see performances from April 26-29. The guitar lineups at these shows represent a who's who of jazz's most innovative and influential six-string masters.
The festivities kick off on Friday, April 26th at the historic Klavierhaus venue, hosting an incredible 7 guitarist lineup across three sets. At 6 pm, Israeli guitar virtuoso Ohad Niceberg takes the stage with his trio. Then at 7 pm and 8:30 pm, New York stalwarts Joel Harrison, Max Light, Steve Cardenas, Brad Shepik, Grant Gordy and Pete McCann perform.
On Sunday, April 28th at 8pm, don't miss Gilad Hekselman's trio taking over the John Birks Gillespie Auditorium at the NYC Baha'i Center (53 East 11th Street). Hekselman's innovative approach to the guitar has made him one of the most influential voices of his generation.
The Guitar Masters Festival concludes on Monday, April 29th with a jaw-dropping quadruple-bill at Zinc Bar. At 7 pm, Italian jazz phenom Pasquale Grasso kicks things off, followed by bebop legend Rodney Jones at 8:15 pm. Rounding out the evening are highly-acclaimed guitarists Ed Cherry at 9:30 pm and Yotam Silberstein closing out the festival.
