Former Baker & Taylor exec joins Altavoz Entertainment as Director of Operations

WASHINGTON - March 19, 2019 - EntSun -- Music veteran Elizabeth  "Liz" Loden has joined Altavoz Entertainment as its director of operations. Previously managing online sales at  Baker & Taylor, a leading distributor of books, videos and music to libraries and retailers in over 120 countries, Liz brings more than two-decades of music industry experience to the company.  "Liz's extensive background in label management and entertainment wholesale make her the perfect fit for the Altavoz family," said Altavoz CEO Nelson Jacobsen. In her new role, Liz will manage the day to day operations of Altavoz and its partner labels and vendor relationship. She will also  provide thought leadership and advice to trade group and communities Altavoz works with in entertainment and open data fields.

Liz is an industry veteran who cut her teeth performing in clubs before college and then joined up with indie record label Acme Entertainment, where she rose to Director of A&R. Liz combined her label management skills with sales when she  joined Baker & Taylor,, working with emerging, independent labels. Liz's role grew to include sales management and working with all aspect of Baker & Taylor's online retail customers. Liz attended Northern Illinois University and is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago where she focused on Arts, Entertainment and media Management.
