Emmy award-winning Cinematographer Petr Cikhart signs with management firm V2M

LOS ANGELES - March 25, 2019 - EntSun -- Cikhart, a graduate of the prestigious American Film Institute, admittedly fell in love with the craft at the age of 19 during his war coverage in Chechnya for Czech TV. Arrested and held hostage for two days during the assignment, he never looked back. He immediately began working in the independent film world on projects that would go on to win awards in the festival circuit, Including Sundance, Berlin and Santa Barbara. He has since been building a solid resume over the years with popular TV and Film credits, including, Syfy's The Nanny, The Dunning Man and the award-winning documentary Blindsight.

Petr has collaborated with many heavyweights while building his extensive resume, including Oscar winning director Barbara Kopple, Tony Hale of Showtime's Veep, Tom Felton of the Harry Potter franchise and Oscar winner Lon Bender. In 2007 Petr's breathtaking shots on the hit show 'The Amazing Race', won him an Emmy for Outstanding Cinematography.
