Dr. Allen Steven Lycka to Host Syndicated Radio Show Miracle on the Hudson, Commemorating 13th Anniversary of Flight 1549, Saturday, January 15

EDMONTON, Alberta - EntSun -- In recognition of the 13^th anniversary of the renowned emergency landing of US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River that preserved the lives of all 155 people onboard, Dr. Allen Steven Lycka is hosting a radio broadcast, Miracle on the Hudson, this Saturday, January 15, at 2:00 EST. Guests will include flight 1549 passengers, as well as others directly and indirectly involved with the event.

Flight 1549 was scheduled to fly from New York's LaGuardia Airport to Charlotte on January 15, 2009.  Shortly after take-off, the plane struck a flock of birds and subsequently lost power in both engines, forcing an emergency landing. All 155 passengers survived due to the heroic efforts of Pilots Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger and Jeffrey Skiles, and the crew members who safely ushered passengers to safety.
