The Cause Marketing Chamber of Commerce (CMCC) presents Businesses With Heart Expo Fall 2022 on Thursday, Sept 8th from 4 pm – 8 pm PDT. The expo will be held at Emerald at Queensridge, 891 S. Rampart Blvd, 89145. Businesses With Heart is a semi-annual expo that will connect motivated professionals and support Spread The Word Nevada, a non-profit organization that promotes and encourages literacy within disadvantaged neighborhoods by changing lives one book at a time.
"This is the ninth time that we have hosted Businesses With Heart, and the impact that we are having on the community continues to grow," stated Guy Dawson, Executive Director of the CMCC. "These events are excellent networking opportunities for business owners and professionals, and they nurture economic success within our community."
"Spread The Word Nevada is a worthy non-profit that is helping a lot of children. We look forward to learning more about the wonderful services they provide."

In addition to networking, Businesses With Heart will provide education on business, non-profits, and cause marketing. The featured presenters include Linda Smith, a non-profit advocate whose fundraising efforts have generated more than a billion dollars for causes, and Don Lainer, a successful businessman who has helped countless young people develop vocational and professional skills through Olive Branch, a non-profit he founded.
Spread the Word Nevada requests donations of children's books, school supplies, and/or backpacks. Your support will help them continue to serve underprivileged children in our community.
An educator in our community who teaches low-income or special needs children at a traditional, charter, or private school, will receive recognition as our Teacher of the Year. Nominations are currently being accepted through a form on the CMCC website.
Admission is $15 through advanced online registration and $20 at the door.
