Bavarian Inn Lodge hosts "For the Love of Pinot: Valentine's Wine Dinner"

This elegant, 6-course dining experience will be hosted on February 14^th at 6 pm in Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Lodge's European-inspired ambiance. Each dish presented throughout the night will be followed with an expertly paired Pinot selection, setting the stage for a perfectly romantic night.

Guests can anticipate a thoughtfully curated six-course menu of skillfully crafted gourmet dishes. The first course will begin the night with a glass of Pierres Sauvages '21 and a Mixed Green Bouquet topped with Peach, Ewephoria, Toasted Marcona Almonds, Pulled Citrus Chicken, and a White Wine Vinaigrette.

Following the first course, a Pesto Shrimp Flatbread with Pinot Gris Lemon Pesto, Sweet Drop Peppers, Pickled Onions, White Balsamic, and Herb Grilled Shrimp will be presented. This dish is perfectly paired with two white pinots: Jermann Pinot Grigio and J Russian River Pinot Gris.

The third course of the evening is a Fried Skate Wing with Lemon Butter, Giardiniera, Arugula, and Fries harmoniously complemented by Blindfold Blanc De Noir by The Prisoner of California.

Succeeding the third course will be flavors of Leelanau Michigan with a tasting of Gold by Mawby, which is a composition of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This Blanc de Noirs will effortlessly introduce a Black Pepper Biscuit Breaded Chicken Thigh with Green Pepper, Green Pea Cream, Carrot Brulee, and Pickled Onion Brulee.

The fifth course will commence with the tastings of the red pinots, beginning with Pinot Meunier-Domaine Chandon from the Napa Valley county Carneros, California. This glass will be accompanied by a Schinken Wrapped Pork Loin, Herbs, Beemster Whipped Potato, Red Wine Syrup, and Mushroom.

As the fifth course concludes, the final course of the night will begin with Slander Pinot Noir from Orin Swift, California. This sophisticated wine will be accompanied by a Braised Venison Shank, Lemon Lime Tarragon Parsnips, Spiced Sweet Potato, Braising Reduction, and Chive Gremolata. The evening concludes with Bavarian Inn Haus Made Truffles, ensuring a sweet finale to an unforgettable night.
