Art à la Carte – a virtual fundraiser for The Center for Contemporary Art

BEDMINSTER, N.J. - EntSun -- Calling all artists and art appreciators! The Center for Contemporary Art ("The Center") is holding a one-of-kind virtual fundraiser, Art à la Carte, on Friday, May 14th from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Join us for a smorgasbord of fun, virtual art activities to choose from! Create an original work of art, test your knowledge on art trivia, or get a personal guided tour of an art exhibition! Not an artist? Not a problem! Your ticket to Art à la Carte gives you access to a menu of art-filled breakout rooms suitable for artists and non-artists alike.
Breakout rooms include: Drawing from a Model with artist Oscar Peterson (Millburn, NJ), Behind-the-Scenes Exhibition Tour with artist Maxwell Mustardo (Pittstown, NJ), Still Life Watercolor Sketching with artist Lena Shiffman (Flemington, NJ), Art Trivia with artist Wes Sherman (Denville, NJ), Upcycle 3D Art-Making with artist Katie Truk (Hamilton Square, NJ), and a Tour of the Berendina Buist exhibition at M Galleries in Washington, NJ with Gallery Director Frank May (Washington, NJ).
Tickets are $35 and provide guests the opportunity to participate in two different breakout rooms and the chance to win fabulous door prizes! Attendees will be sent descriptions of the breakout rooms and a list of supplies needed for the art projects in advance – most will be simple items you already have at home!
