After We Leave sells out Hollywood premiere

LOS ANGELES - EntSun -- After We Leave's theatrical premiere at Arena Cinelounge on Feb 21 has sold out its first day. Aleem Hossain's award-winning debut feature is screening the rest of the week from 22 to 27 February. Los Angeles director and university professor, Aleem, will be in attendance with cast and crew to discuss his four-year labor of love and the collaborative process of independent film.

Aleem Hossain's debut feature was filmed over four years in and around Los Angeles and addresses contemporary issues surrounding environmental pollution, immigration, and inclusivity. Aleem's gritty portrayal of LA locations, Julie Kirkwood's cinematography, and Blain Hossain understated VFX is glued together by a mesmerizing stand out performance from Brian Silverman.

About Aleem Hossain:

Aleem Hossain is a filmmaker, AR/VR creator, and professor. He was selected for the initial Oculus Launchpad program, a VR incubator run by Facebook/Oculus, where he began developing his ongoing documentary VR series, I NEVER TOLD YOU. He was an artist-in-residence at the 2017 VR Action Lab where he created NO EASY ANSWERS, a VR anti-bullying project, in collaboration with Google, Harmony Labs, and Screenwriters Colony. Aleem is also Assistant Professor of Digital Storytelling at Occidental College in Los Angeles.
