Actor Mohammad-Reza Foroutan - Persian TV Series

TORONTO - EntSun -- Mohammad Reza Foroutan was born in Tehran, Iran in 1968. He started as a youth attending Azad University where he graduated with a master's in clinical psychology. Even though he is most famously known as a popular actor, he has actually gone on to complete his Ph.D in Health Psychology. It is true that he did not start out with the assumption of making it big in the film/tv industry, but after taking a few free acting classes, he decided to try his luck and see where it would take him.

The first movie Mohammad Reza Foroutan was cast in was titled "Goal". This was followed by a bunch of different minor roles in a variety of Persian TV serials. A small role in an episode of The Clue brought his potential to the attention of Masoud Kimiay. After this opportunity struck, he was put into the leading role in Mercedes, which boosted him into success, and specifically into two major roles that would soon make him even more well known! He has been awarded a number of nominations and secured various awards for his roles, but throughout, he never left behind his desire to help out in the community.
