Volunteers Spruce Up Area Non-Profit for Blind & Visually Impaired
EntSun News/10777931
NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - May 23, 2019 - EntSun -- On Saturday, May 11, 2019, more than twenty volunteers from Crosspoint Christian Church spruced up the curbside appeal for the Lighthouse of Southwest Florida, as part of United Way's Volunteer Days of Caring.
Coordinated through the United Way Volunteer Center, community volunteers of all ages worked for several hours to beautify the property, including painting benches, planting flowers, mulching beds, and removing weeds to provide a more welcoming environment. Crosspoint Christian Church and Pillar Paradise Custom Lawn & Landscaping provided the materials for the job. The United Way Volunteer Center, the designated Volunteer Center for Lee, Hendry, Glades and Okeechobee counties, creates connections between volunteer opportunities and individuals, families, businesses and groups to help serve their community.
