Ultra Runner reaches Illinois after 2400 Miles on Historic 4th Run across America
EntSun News/10999606
MOUNT VERNON, Ill. - EntSun -- After 111 days and 2,400 miles, Noah Coughlan has reached Mt. Vernon, Illinois on his 4th Run across the United States. The Run For Revival is a 167 Day tribute to the United States Military and to Veterans of all eras. Coughlan met with the Command staff and thanked Airmen at Scott Air Force Base for their service and commitment to protecting the American People.
This is Noah Coughlan's fourth and final run across America. He previously completed coast to coast treks in 2011, 2013, and 2015, and a run across Ireland in 2020. Coughlan carries an American Flag given to him by the Air Force and flown on KC-10 Extender by the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron in April 2023 from Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
Coughlan has stopped to meet with World War II Veterans, VFW and American Legion posts, County Sheriffs, State Police, Fire Departments, Rotary Clubs, and everyday citizens in big cities and small towns across the first eight States of Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri, and now Illinois. His remaining route takes him through western Kentucky, Nashville and Tennessee, through the Atlanta area into south Georgia, and finally to the Florida cities of Tallahassee, Tampa, and Miami.

Coughlan began the Run For Revival on Memorial Day in Blaine, WA and will finish on Veterans Day at the Atlantic Ocean near Miami, Florida. His message is simple as a general thank you to all who have served and serve today.
Coughlan stated, "Run For Revival is my way to bring America together by honoring the American military. You will find that military Veterans and their families have greatly enriched their communities across America. They are the glue that holds this Nation together. As citizens, we have much more in common than we have apart. Much of that is the impact of the American Veteran and service member today. Not only do they serve and protect in a military capacity, but they also contribute after their service as police officers, pilots, teachers, firefighters, lawmakers, and more."
Noah has 56 days and 1150 miles remaining. He has completed dozens of media interviews, and has met with hundreds of Veterans and service members. For more information and follow his historic journey, visit: https://www.run4revival.org/
