Tresco Industries Launches CORTEX, a Guided Console Planning Workflow for Control Room Projects

CALGARY, Alberta - EntSun -- Tresco Industries Ltd., a Calgary-based manufacturer of control room consoles for more than 40 years, today announced CORTEX, a guided console planning workflow for teams evaluating AEGIS, NEXUS, and VANGUARD console systems.

CORTEX is sales-assisted: a Tresco specialist walks each customer through the tool during a free planning session. The workflow covers project basics, room context, console direction, equipment and monitors, and facility logistics, then produces a traceable planning package for handoff to engineering.

The tool checks layouts against ISO 11064 constraints and calculates required console height in real time as monitors are placed, catching ergonomic fit issues before they reach the shop floor. A Console Matrix lets teams compare multiple console configurations side by side and filter for unconfirmed fields, and a matching Logistics Matrix does the same for shipping and Incoterms-level detail. Projects move through a versioned pipeline, from discovery to proposal review to closed status, so every revision stays on record.
