Krol's last known interview was granted to Harper Perennial in conjunction with its publication of Callisto in 2009.
Krol's novels have been reviewed by The New York Times, The Washington Post, Times (London), and many other news outlets around the world. The media has speculated about Krol's identity for more than a decade but no one has made a positive identification. Last year, an author in Germany published an essay stating several theories of possible identities.
Novelist Steven S. Drachman conducted the 2019 interview with Krol on behalf of Audere magazine, produced by Chickadee Prince Books, a literary press in Brooklyn, New York. The full interview can be read here: https://audere.chickadeeprince.com/2019/06/11/torsten-krol-a-writer-in-the-shadows/
Platinum Needle, Krol's exclusive publisher, produces high quality literary properties for film, television, and digital entertainment.
