The Spin Awards Announces Radio Man of The Year: Walter Ko

ATLANTA - EntSun -- The Spin Awards (TSA), the premier national non-profit organization dedicated to honoring outstanding achievements in Christian Gospel radio, proudly announces Walter Ko as the 2024 Radio Man of The Year. The Spin Awards is renowned for its exclusive recognition of professionals within the Christian Gospel radio industry, and this year's event promises to be a highlight of the radio calendar.

The Spin Awards will be held from October 24-26, 2024, in the vibrant Atlanta, Georgia area. The three-day celebration will kick off with two days of enriching activities including free workshops, dynamic showcases, and the TSA Pre-Ceremony. The event will culminate in a spectacular red carpet gala and the Saturday night main ceremony, a ticketed affair that celebrates the best in Gospel radio.

Walter Ko, a stalwart in the radio industry, has dedicated over 23 years to both his craft and his community. His distinguished career spans over 16 years in terrestrial radio with notable stations such as KPRZ 1210AM/106.1FM, KCBQ 1170AM, and KURS 1040AM. Currently, Walter broadcasts on Stellar Award-winning GOD1Radio (A MediaBase Station) and iHeartRadio (K-Praise FM 106.1 AM 1210). His impressive resume includes collaborations with Stellar Award Winner Lady Shaunte Garrett and current co-hosting duties with Gospel Recording Artist Michelle "Evangel" Thompson and Gospel Industry leader Leonard Thompson III.

Walter graduated from the University of California, San Diego, and Bethel Theological Seminary, and has been pastoring for many years and currently is the Founder and Executive Director of a non-profit 501c3named 3XL that assists families struggling financially with brand new baby cribs monthly, Thanksgiving meals, and Christmas gift cards. Walter has been blessed with an incredible family in his wife Karie(married since 2001), their son Exodus, and daughter Psalm.
