The Origin and Evolution of RonDoe Midnight Halls

​The initiative began with the development of interactive virtual personas originally created for digital fashion modeling, video content, and online interactive skits.
The project took an unexpected turn when several of these digital fashion models were imported into studio grade music audio software without prior authorization. Through external system diagnostics, Ctown Sounds discovered that external collaborators had begun experimenting with these personas inside digital audio AI, producing full vocal tracks and original arrangements with the models. As these tracks circulated online, creators began downloading, modifying, and re-releasing the music across various global markets. This unintended distribution created a unique phenomenon where songs we generated became scattered across the internet without their creators. Creating the foundation for the project theme," I Lost My Song and Want It Back Now."

​Recognizing the artistic value within these scattered compositions—many of which drew heavily from classic American pop, soul, and inspirational musical traditions— initiating a comprehensive curation effort.

​Adding to the excitement of the unexpected arrival of RonDoe and Midnight Halls. RonDoe's entry into the scheme was a bit of a surprise and was a very late entry. Once the song was performed interest in the underlying composition grew fast,. So fast the production team decided to move swiftly to finalize and release the song quickly with a twist for the virtual AI models. Who sang the song anyway and can anyone a digitalized person or AI sing it just as well. Plus the real story Of Ronald and RonDoe AI Heartthrob.

​To maintain professional production standards, Ctown Sounds utilizes established music industry practices regarding session vocalists and performance rights. In traditional recording workflows, session singers are hired to perform pre-composed material, signing over performance rights to the master recording in exchange for agreed-upon compensation.
