The KIS Foundation, Inc. Hosts "Day of Giving" COVID-19/Crisis Care Package Giveaway for Sickle Cell Disease Community

INGLEWOOD, Calif. - EntSun -- These days, giving back is more important than ever and families living with or affected by Sickle Cell Disease will receive some extra needed assistance. The KIS Foundation, Inc. has partnered with BBVA and HERBALIFE Nutrition to supply families living with Sickle Cell Disease with COVID-19 care relief boxes, Crisis Care Packages, and new iPads to support virtual learning.

On Sunday, October 18, 2020, from 12 pm - 3 pm, The K.I.S Foundation, Inc. will host a drive-thru, no contact, COVID-19 Safety compliant distribution at 745 N. La Brea Ave, Inglewood, CA, 90302 for SCD families who register in advance via special invite.  Families will receive a COVID-19 Care Relief Box containing essential healthcare items, a Crisis Care package filled with necessities SCD patients need during a health crisis (whether at home or in the hospital) PLUS a brand new iPad to aid in virtual learning due to the current pandemic.
