The 12th Annual Igniting Souls Conference

COLUMBUS, Ohio - EntSun -- COLUMBUS, Ohio –  For the past 12 years The Igniting Souls Conference has proven to be a life-changing gathering attracting authors, entrepreneurs, and influencers, from around the world. Founder and CEO Kary Oberbrunner and his team made pivots throughout the pandemic years, but the 3-day conference never skipped a beat. This year, because of sweeping changes in the world and the internet, ISC will focus on equipping attendees with the knowledge to help them leverage Web3 and the metaverse to optimize their book, brand, and business.

This year's conference theme is: Bigger Than Me. Kary Oberbrunner says, "The world has changed. Most businesses are trying to reach people the same way. It doesn't work. We must change too." The recent pandemic saw the emergence of a new way of doing business. The world didn't stop during that time. It shifted. Schools, churches, and businesses went online in a whole new way. We're entering an immersive internet, where experiences and assets lead the way.

Author Neal Stephenson coined the term "metaverse" in his 1992 science-fiction novel "Snow Crash," which envisions a virtual reality-based successor to the internet. The term metaverse went mainstream overnight when Mark Zuckerberg announced the name change of Facebook to Meta in late October 2021.

According to McKinsey & Company, the metaverse could be worth upwards of 5 trillion dollars by 2030. Goldman Sachs predicts one-third of the digital economy will shift into virtual worlds and then expand by 25%. The future of the internet is built around decentralized technologies and virtual worlds. Now is the time for people to learn how to leverage those technologies. To help them learn, ISC will offer 5 distinct breakout tracks: Web3, Influencers, Soul on Fire, Entrepreneurs, and Authors.

About the Conference

Igniting Souls Conference began in 2010 in a small church basement and has since grown to fill the Hilton Polaris Conference Center and this year the International Center for Creativity in Dublin, Ohio. Hundreds more attend online.
