SparkAnew Officially Launches SparkPlace to Make 'Doing Life Together the

With its flagship mobile platform now live, the Albuquerque-based ecosystem reveals its complete framework at the Connected Cities Summit, uniting third-place discovery, creative development, and venture incubation.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - EntSun -- SparkAnew, a mission-driven ecosystem working to rebuild local social architecture, today officially launched its flagship digital platform, SparkPlace, in conjunction with the Connected Cities Summit, hosted in Seattle this week. Designed as a direct response to rising social isolation and the loss of local gathering spaces, SparkAnew aims to make "doing life together the default again" by reconnecting individuals with physical community life.

Starting today, users ("Embers") can access SparkPlace on web and mobile to discover, rate, and activate verified physical third spaces across Albuquerque–from neighborhood cafes and libraries, to creative hubs and civic gathering spaces. Unlike conventional platforms built to capture digital attention, SparkPlace functions as a utility to guide users offline and into meaningful real-world interactions.

"Rebuilding genuine third spaces isn't just about finding a place to sit—it's about re-establishing the physical environment where trust, belonging, and shared life naturally happen," said Stephen W. Morris, Founder and Ecosystem Lead at SparkAnew. "SparkPlace is the front door, but the true strength of this launch is the full ecosystem standing behind it. When we create spaces where people feel comfortable and connected, we unleash the creative and economic vitality of the entire community."

The Three Pillars of the SparkAnew Ecosystem

Today's launch marks the public activation of SparkAnew's complete human-centered ecosystem:
  • SparkPlace Platform: The discovery and connection engine helping users explore local third spaces, curate personal neighborhood maps (Ember Corner), and organize gathering opportunities.
  • ACT (Arts-Integrated Creativity Training): The human engine of the ecosystem, delivering workshops and experiential programs that help individuals transition from passive isolation to active participation and creative expression.
  • The Forge: A venture incubator dedicated to supporting, sustaining, and scaling the local business owners, venue stewards, and community leaders ("Keepers") who host and maintain physical gathering spaces.
