To help guests connect with the neighborhood, every stay includes City Gems, Section L's curated guide to local recommendations. Celebrating the opening, Tokyo-based illustrator Fern Choonet will undertake a live artist residency at the property, creating an original mural inspired by Hatagaya's creative spirit, retro character and everyday street life. Guests and local residents will be able to watch the artwork develop throughout opening week before it becomes a permanent part of the hotel.
