Post-Valentine's Wedding Dress Sale: Women Helping Women

PITTSBURGH - EntSun -- Treasure House Fashions is hosting the Leap Into Love Wedding Dress Sale on Februrary 28 and 29. Proceeds from the event will benefit Treasure House's mission of "promoting the dignity and self-esteem of women in transition or crisis" by providing clothing to over 65 women's agencies and nonprofits across the region.

The sale will take place at Treasure House Fashions' shop at 7607 McKnight Rd, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15237. The store will be open for all to browse on February 29 from 11am-6pm. Individualized, VIP appointments are available for purchase here (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/leap-into-love-wed...) on February 28th for two-hour sessions from 11am-9pm.

Wedding dresses will be available for $200 at the event, and mother of the bride/ groom, and bridesmaid dresses will be sold as well. There is a wide variety of styles including some vintage, and many brand new with tags. Sizes range from 2-22. Vendors will be on site to assist with other wedding-related details.

Treasure House Fashions is a nonprofit resale shop "where clothing is our means not our mission." Since opening in 2001, Treasure House has grown to include over 40 volunteer salespeople, over 65 partner agencies, and more than 10,000 women helped with the gift of clothing. Their primary goal is to affirm the worth of women on challenging journeys by providing them the dignity of shopping for clothes they want and need at no cost to them or the agencies serving them.
