Free event connected faith leaders with funding resources, government services and senior state leadership in Florida

LAUDERHILL, Fla. - EntSun -- A full room of pastors, ministry representatives and community leaders gathered in Lauderhill for a free educational and networking event hosted by Dr. Rod Joseph and featuring Florida Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins as the special guest.

The three-hour conversation offered practical guidance to help churches and faith-based organizations strengthen their operations, pursue funding opportunities and expand their community impact and was moderated by Dr. Raj.

"This gathering demonstrated what happens when faith, public service and community leadership come together around solutions," said Dr. Joseph. "Our pastors are often on the front lines, serving families, mentoring young people and responding to community needs. They deserve access to the information, partnerships and resources required to sustain and expand that work." Participants received information on organizing church documents, understanding nonprofit and business structures, accessing federal grants and subsidies, identifying government-donated properties and developing effective grant-writing strategies.

Historic engagement with Haitian-American leaders

The campaign's team described the participation of Lieutenant Governor Collins as a significant moment for Haitian-American engagement in Florida's 20th Congressional District. The second in command after Governor DeSantis sat with Haitian-American pastors and community leaders, listened to their concerns and participated in a direct conversation about the issues affecting their congregations and neighborhoods – a first in history. A former state representative attending the program praised the gathering as an important step toward ensuring that Haitian Americans have meaningful access to decision-makers. "With Rod, we have a seat at the table, our voice is heard, and our concerns are addressed," the former legislator stated in a post-event assessment.

The event also included representatives from the Supervisor of Elections office, who were present to assist eligible attendees with voter registration information and civic participation resources. Campaign staff and volunteers supported registration, hospitality, logistics and guest coordination throughout the evening.

"I am an American. The law is the law, and I will put you first," Dr. Joseph told attendees while discussing his approach to public service and representation. He also spoke about the continuing crisis in Haiti, calling for a determined effort to uproot corruption, confront lawlessness and strengthen institutions capable of restoring security and public trust. The conversation resonated strongly with naturalized Americans and immigrant families who want leaders to support border security while also recognizing the value of lawful immigration and the contributions of citizens who chose America as their home.

Dr. Joseph said. "It was an opportunity to equip leaders, empower ministries and strengthen the communities they serve." The turnout reflected the strong demand for programs that combine faith-based leadership development, civic engagement and direct access to public resources.

The campaign team thanked the pastors, community leaders, faithful volunteers, campaign staff officials and continue to recruit volunteers https://rodjosephforcongress.com/volunteer.
